Overview

Welding and Fabricating

Harris Machine offers an extensive range of in-house metal fabrication services to provide custom-engineered metal products. Our metal fabrications are tailored to your unique requirements based on your models or drawings.  We start with quality unprocessed materials that meet our customers requirements.  To ensure quality and consistency in our product we build our own fixtures and tooling in-house which ultimately reduces costs to the customer. 

We can provide precision welds on small or large quantity runs with a rapid turn around time. Our efficient and experienced team will support our customer requirements.  With 8 welding robots (several head-stock-tail-stock) and over 40 manual welding machines ranging from 250 to 600 amp.  We offer various types of ARC welding processes.  All of our welding machines and power sources are calibrated annually.  HMC has AWS D1.1 certified welders along with CWI's (Certified Welding Instructors) to ensure your product is welded to your specification.

Machining

Our machining services ensure tight tolerances are held resulting in conformance of final parts. With our equipment and experience in Large and Small machining services, we can satisfy our customers needs. We use various cutting tools including single point cutting tools and multiple cutting edge tools. We perform various CNC machining processes including Turning, Milling, Bore Milling and Sawing.   HMC utilizes Gibbs CAM CAD software, Solid works, Pro-nest and Sigma Nest for it's programming and part modeling software.

Plasma and Oxyfuel Cutting

Harris Machine can address the needs of your materials and requirements. Our advanced nesting programs, capability and experience enables us to get the highest possible yield's reducing costs to the customer. The end result is a quality product for the best possible cost. 

 Remanufacturing

Our remanufacturing division has become a major component of our company. We are able to offer remanufactured parts to our customers using their cores and new materials. With costs rising for raw materials, this has been an excellent way for our OEM's to recapture profits and recycle expensive parts.  HMC's Reman department is able to keep track of all customer owned inventory in turn helping strategic buyers meet their demands for parts. This department is under one roof allowing us to maximize storage and production efficiency with our other divisions. 

Painting & Coating

A value added service such as painting completes the integration that our customers are looking for.  Our insulated paint booth can handle part dimensions of 144" in length, 60" in width and 78" in height with a maximum part weight of 5,000 lbs.  Physical properties such as wear resistance, adhesion, and scratch resistance are also added as well as enhanced external appearance of components.  We offer a large line of coatings such as enamel, urethane and epoxy.
